4-H is the largest non-formal education program in the world. It provides youth with the life skills they need to be successful in life. These skills include leadership, citizenship, and communication. 4-H also allows for personal growth. The 4-H program is family oriented. Parents play an important role in the 4-H program serving as volunteer leaders. The 4-H program is open to everyone, regardless of where you live. 4-H members have the opportunity to select from a vast number of 4-H projects.
Enrollment for 2025 will open October 15, 2024 and close March 1, 2025 for Baca County 4-H members. Member ages from 5-7 years are registered as Cloverbuds and ages 8-18 years are able to enroll in the different projects that are available. Here is a listing of all projects available in Baca County:
