Baca County Livestock Own-by & Weigh-in Dates   arrow

Tentative 2026 Baca County 4-H Livestock Weigh-in Dates, Baca County Fairgrounds

  • Market Beef:  February 27th.
  • Breeding animals:  All breeding livestock Ownership forms due to Extension office May 1st.
  • Horse and Dog ID:  Must be registered online or Ownership forms to the office by May 1st.
  • Market Sheep and Goat:  Weigh-In Friday, May 1st: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Market Swine:  Nomination are due to the Extension Office by May 14th. Contact the office to pick up tags and nomination instructions.
  • Market Poultry:  Own-by-date, June 15th.
  • Market Rabbit:  Weigh-In, July 1st.
