Seedling tree orders for 2026 will be placed with South Platte Natural Resources District. See the order form below (SPNRD order form) to see the available trees.
Seedling tree order forms are available at the link below and at the Baca County Extension Office until March 1, 2026. By networking with SPNRD, residents are able to order from several native species of bare root and hefty root seedlings, at a low cost in order to assist with their conservation efforts, with NO ACREAGE REQUIREMENT. Delivery date will be in April from SPNRD.
Inventories are limited and sell out quickly, so the sooner you place an order, the better. You can email, send, or drop off your order form at the Baca County Extension Office located at 700 Colorado Street. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
