Campo Trailblazers
Leader: Christy Franklin 523-3366

Campo Trailblazers 4-H Club was started in Campo in the late 1920’s. The club disbanded for a few years. It reorganized in the middle 1930’s. For a short time there was more than one club. Livestock and Home Economics were separated during these years. The club was for boys only which was called Campo Trailblazers and a club for girls and boys called Willing Workers. Finally they joined together to form one club and carried over the name Campo Trailblazers. Ages for boys and girls now range from 9 to 18 and all types of projects. Beginning in 1975 thru the present the club has completed various community pride projects such as painting the city hall and fire hydrants, helping with spring clean up for the town, painted the street signs, Operation Easter Bunny, help raise money for Red Cross and Cystic Fibrosis, and many more.
