The Baca County Extension office provides assistance and programs for citizens in five main areas: Agriculture, Horticulture, Family and Consumer Science, Natural Resources and 4-H Youth Programs.

SMALL ANIMAL SHOWMANSHIP CLINICS
Baca County 4-H Council is holding a small animal showmanship clinic at the Baca County Fairgrounds on
Friday, June 2nd. The Poultry clinic will begin at 9:30 a.m. and conclude at Noon, lunch will be available for purchase from Noon to 1:00 p.m., and the Rabbit Clinic will begin at 1:00 p.m. and conclude at 3:30 p.m. Each Clinic costs $10 per Baca County member and $15 for each out of County member. Lunch will also be $10. Animals will be available for members to use. Should a member wish to bring their own animals, arrangements must be made with the Extension Office by the registration deadline. The registration deadline is May 26th.

SHEEP AND GOAT SHOWMANSHIP CLINICS
Baca County 4-H Council is holding a sheep and goat showmanship clinic at the Baca County Fairgrounds on Saturday, June 3rd. The Goat Clinic will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at Noon, lunch will be available for purchase from Noon to 1:30 p.m., and the Sheep Clinic will begin at 1:30 p.m. and conclude at 4:30 p.m. Each Clinic costs $10 per Baca County member and $15 for each out of County member. Lunch will also be $10. Animals will be available for members to use. Should a member wish to bring their own animals, arrangements must be made with the Extension Office by the registration
deadline. The registration deadline is May 26th. Experts from Kansas and Texas will be traveling to lead
the clinics.

***If you want to bring your own animal for the clinic, it must be show ring ready and previous arrangements made with the Extension Office. Other animals will be available onsite for use during hands on exercises.
